Bulevardi – Upholstery Fabric

Bulevardi is part of a collaboration collection between Annala and the Finnish heritage design house Suomen Käsityön Ystävät – a fabric where textile tradition meets timeless design. The pattern carries a genuine sense of history: the original weave was discovered in the archives of Suomen Käsityön Ystävät and is believed to date back to the early 1900s.

The fabric features a lively zigzag pattern, brought to life through subtle color gradients. The gentle transitions between shades create depth and rhythm, making the fabric both calm and visually engaging. The pattern and base fabric blend harmoniously, resulting in a balanced and versatile overall look.

Originally unnamed, the design was given the name Bulevardi by Annala, who also developed several new colorways alongside the original. This gives the historical pattern a fresh expression suited for modern interiors.
