Axel is a high-quality and durable wool-based upholstery fabric designed for public spaces. The fabric is designed by Bianca Byggmästar, whose work combines timeless aesthetics with practical functionality.

The Axel upholstery fabric has been developed במיוחד for demanding, high-traffic use, such as furniture in public environments. It is well suited for restaurants, hotels, waiting areas, and other intensively used spaces. The seamless and lively pattern adds a refined look to interiors while remaining user-friendly and versatile.

Inspired by Parisian bistros, Axel combines a classic atmosphere with modern sustainable design thinking. The wool fabric feels comfortable, withstands wear, and retains its appearance over time – making it a reliable choice for professional use and demanding applications.

In addition to upholstery, Axel is also suitable for decorative cushions, allowing a cohesive interior look across the space.

Availability and ordering
Available in small quantities in the color shown in the online store. Other color combinations and scaled patterns are woven to order per project (minimum order 20 m). Color options can be found under the Kehrä wool fabric options.
