-WHERE ARE ANNALA'S FABRICS ACTUALLY MADE?

Annala’s fabrics are made in our own factory in Finland, South Ostrobothnia in Lapua. Annala does comprehensive work for domestic production.

Annala's weaving mill has manufactured high-quality interior fabrics for homes and industry for over 60 years. The factory is run by Hanna Kortesoja and the company already operates in the fourth generation. Annala is the only remaining manufacturer of Finnish woven furniture fabrics.

-THERE'S NO MOULD TREATMENT IN THE FABRICS, IS THERE?

No chemical additives have been used in our fabrics. Yarns come from European ÖKO TEX standard responsible yarn manufacturers in a few days to Finland.

Mold blocking treatments used during long sea freight from Asian are not needed, because we do not order materials from far away countries. Houses in Scandinavia are warm inside in every weather, so high humidity is not a problem here.

Treatments after weaving, the fabrics are only steamed with clean drinkable water from our local water supply network. We want our fabrics as harmless and non-toxic as possible.
