Winter holidays in Annala 2024
Annala sales, warehouse and dispatch office is on winter holidays Thu-Fri 7-8 March. During this time, orders can be sent by email or online. Deliveries ordered during the holiday will be dispatched from the warehouse from Mon 11.3.2024.
The Helsinki Showroom is closed during the winter holiday from 5-8 March. Welcome to visit our fabrics again on Monday 11.3.!

Opening hours in December
Annala will weave fabrics at the end of the year until Friday 22nd December. The last orders for the current year will be sent from the warehouse on Tuesday 19.12.
If you are in a hurry with an order, you should inquire about the stock situation and availability directly from sales at myynti@annala.fi (Mon-Fri 9am-4pm).
We will return to work from the Christmas break with normal opening hours from Tuesday, January 2, 2024. The weavery is therefore completely closed from 25.12. - 1.1.
Our factory shop - café Annalan Villa Café Shop is open in December Wed-Fri from 12-17.00 until Friday 22.12.
It's worth stopping by to say hello and have a coffee if you happen to be passing nearby.

Annala's factory store Villa Café & Shop will open again for the Christmas season. The store is open one weekend in November, Sat-Sun 25.-26.11. from 12 to 16 and in December Wed-Fri from 12 to 17 (until 22.12.).

Annala's new fabrics at Habitare 13.-17.9.2023!
This year, Annala's stand 6e40 will have a separate visit to a textile and art installation at Habitare. STEP IN is an installation designed by artist Laura Annala and created in collaboration with Annala, which depicts the power and effect of patterns, textiles and colours in interior design.
"I wanted to highlight how textiles can create a magical atmosphere in a space. In Scandinavian interiors, home textiles in neutral tones have been one of the cornerstones of style for decades; Patterns, colours and different patterns and textures are the function of interior cushions and decorations. Elsewhere in Europe, and indeed everywhere else in the world, textiles use colours, patterns and structure to create multidimensionality and warmth in a space. I hope that more of this kind of courage will also be found in Finnish homes and public spaces," says Laura Annala.

SUMMER IN ANNALA
Annala's holiday season starts on June 23 and ends on July 23. In the meantime, the loom only weaves pre-agreed orders and e-shop orders are sent depending on the stock situation. Orders received by e-mail are also accepted during the holidays. In July, the delivery days for orders are Mondays 3.7. and 10.7. Orders for ready-to-sewn products will start again in week 30.
Annala's Lapua factory store-café, Villa Café & Shop, is open all summer. In June, you can visit the store Wed-Fri 12-18 and in July Mon-Fri 12-18. The factory store can be found in the textile building on the beach of Lankilankoski at the address Lankilantie 90, 62100 LAPUA.
The Helsinki Showroom is closed in July from 1 to 30 July.
On Midsummer's Eve, Friday 23.6. all offices are closed.
POISTOPÄIVÄ -DAY AT LAPUA FRI 28.7.
The fabric removal day (Poistopäivä), which has become a tradition, is held at the loom on the last Friday of July, 27.7.2023. Fabrics that are no longer in the collection, leftovers and trial batches are then sold from the warehouse at disposal prices. Come and make discoveries!

Factory store/Cafe Villa Café & Shop opens again
Villa Café & Shop, the factory store of Annala weavery, located on the shore of Lankilankoski in Lapua, opens again for the summer season. The first "training days" for new employees are already in April, 27-28. from 12:00 to 18:00. The store opens on May 31st, from which point the store is open in June Wed-Fri from 12:00 to 18:00.

Come to visit us at stand A11:13 at Stocholm Furniture Fair
We are pleased to welcome you to Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2023. The event is world’s largest platform for Scandinavian design with more than 400 exhibitors within the furniture and lighting industry. Stockholm furniture fair attracts professional visitors from over 100 countries and we hope you will be one of them.
Annala is the only Finnish manufacturer of furniture fabrics. We weave furniture fabrics for home and industrial needs. In addition to our own collection, we manufacture special and project fabrics as well as fabrics for various brands' own collections. Our business supports the self-sufficiency of domestic responsible production and the preservation of the weaving and craft tradition in Finland. Annala's weaving mill is located in southern Ostrobothnia, Lappo, by the shore of Lankilankoski.

Fabrics that will be removed from the collection in 2023
From the beginning of the year, some fabrics will be removed from our collection. The removal of old styles makes room for new, more up-to-date fabrics, which are gradually added to the range. The discontinued fabrics are: LUMI, PIN-UP, BAX, ALAVA, VELLAMO, KORU, VOS and the Marja series fabrics MANSIKKA, MUSTIKKA, POLUKKA and KARVIAINEN.
Discontinued fabrics are sold as long as there is stock.

Annala's Christmas break 22 December 2022-1 January 2023
The Annala weavery and Helsinki Showroom will be open for the last day this year on Wednesday 21st of December. We will return from the Christmas break on Monday 2 January 2023.
The fabrics ready in stock will still be delivered from Lapua on Tuesday 20th December.
Annala's Lapua factory store, Villa Cafè & Shop, has its last opening day of the Christmas season on December 21st. The Villa will be opened again in the summer season of 2023 at a time to be announced later. However, Villa Café & Shop space is always available for private events. Inquiries: villa@annala.fi

About deliveries of "COLOR ME HAPPY" blankets
The first blankets were ready and posted into the world a week ago. The "COLOR ME HAPPY" collection is a completely new concept for us and its wild popularity surprised us already on the first day of publication at Habitare fair. We didn't even have time to start marketing, when we already had to start ramping up production along with all the other weaving.
However, quality never comes in a hurry, so thank you all for your understanding. At Annala, we understand that the wait may have seemed long, but new blankets are being finnished and posted nearly every day.
The collection's bold colors and patterns seemed a bit risky, but clearly something like that has been needed, joy and color!

There will be delays at the entrance to the Helsinki Showroom from 28 to 30 September
Excavation work will take place in front of the Helsinki Aula 5/Annala showroom on 28.-30.9.
As a result you may have to wait a few minutes to enter the premises. However, the workers doing street work have promised to help all customers inside with the help of a temporary bridge when necessary.

The Annala x Young Finnish Design collection is also on display at Habitare. The new Laura Annala: Annala x Annala collection is also included.
Annala launched the collection designed by the Young Finnish Designers at the Design Helsinki event on August 24-25, 2022.
Annala wants to highlight the preservation of domestic and regional weaving skills and self-sufficiency in Finland, and at the same time highlight wonderful, talented young designers with whom we will change our responsible operations and local production a part of everyone's everyday life.
The next launching event will be at Habitare fair in Helsinki 7-11 September 2022, when we will announce the Annala x Annala collection, which is inspired by Laura Annala's artworks (www.lauraannala.com)

We are participating in the Design Helsinki 2022 festival celebrating Finnish contemporary design on August 24-25, 2022. The event presents the new Annala x Young Finnish Design collection, which was made in cooperation with talented young YFD designers.

The past few years have been challenging for many companies. The situation puts a strain on us mentally and also causes rising of energy, transport, raw materials and labor costs.
In terms of raw materials, we have remained close to the same delivery times, and thus we have also been able to ensure the normal progress of our customers' projects. However, the price increase is so high and currently ongoing that we will have to raise our prices slightly. The price increases will take effect on June 1, 2022.

Summer opening hours
All Annala's premises will be closed on Thursday 26 May.
The weaving mill will start staggered summer holidays in June, there may be a slight slowdown in production, but the actual holiday break is in July, when we are completely closed for weeks 28 and 29 (July 11-July 22, 2022). Helsinki Showroom is closed for weeks 27-30 (July 4-31)
Our Lapua factory store Villa Cafe & Shop is open from July from Monday to Friday from
12.00-18.00 and during that time you can also pick up fabrics from the stock.
The popular Poistopäivät (Removal Days) are again at our weaving mill on July 29, 12.00-18.00 when there are many fabrics available to leave at kilo prices.
