Maarit Pöör

Maarit Pöör combines artistic expression and functional design in her work. Her deep connection to the Nordic countries began in 1992, when she became the first Estonian to study at Aalto University in Finland.
Maarit's art is recognizable by its original color palette and clear geometric shapes. She draws inspiration from Nordic architecture. Now, this union of architecture and textile design has found a new, tangible form in collaboration with Annala.
"My goal was to combine respect for historical architecture with modern textile design. It's as if we were weaving the soul of buildings into a new, soft story on fabric. The result is a collection that is both traditional and fresh, bringing timeless and warm harmony to the space," says Maarit.
