Squares – upholstery fabric for public spaces | Annala x Young Finnish Design

Squares is a durable and graphic upholstery fabric, part of the Annala x Young Finnish Design collection. The fabric is designed by Bianca Byggmästar, whose work combines timeless aesthetics with practical functionality.

The Squares upholstery fabric is developed במיוחד for demanding, high-traffic use. Its seamless and intentionally lively pattern makes it user-friendly and helps maintain a clean appearance even in active environments. The geometric grid pattern adds rhythm and visual interest to interiors.

It is well suited for restaurants, hotels, waiting areas, and other public spaces where durability and versatility are essential. Inspired by Parisian bistros, Squares blends a classic atmosphere with contemporary design.

In addition to upholstery, Squares is also suitable for decorative cushions and other textile elements, helping to create a cohesive interior look. Sustainability has been an integral part of the design process.

Availability and ordering
Available in small quantities in the color shown in the online store. Other color combinations and scaled patterns are woven to order per project (minimum order 20 m).
