Korsi – upholstery fabric for public spaces | Annala x Young Finnish Design

Korsi is a graphic and timeless upholstery fabric, part of the Annala x Young Finnish Design collection. The fabric is designed by Tomi Laukkanen, whose work combines functionality, visual clarity, and ecological thinking.

The pattern of Korsi is inspired by bent grass straws. Its linear, rhythmic stripe creates a serene and balanced look, enriched by subtle details. The pattern can also evoke cultivated fields, where crops grow in structured rows.

The fabric is suitable for both public interiors and residential use. It works well across different scales – from large upholstered surfaces to smaller details – and is also ideal for decorative cushions and other textile elements.

The design emphasizes durability, functionality, and timeless aesthetics, making Korsi a reliable choice for long-term use.
