Rytmi – upholstery fabric for public spaces | Annala x Young Finnish Design

Rytmi is a timeless and dynamic upholstery fabric, part of the Annala x Young Finnish Design collection. The fabric is designed by Marjut Nousiainen, whose work combines interior architecture, furniture design, and pattern design.

Rytmi is designed from a holistic perspective, where every detail contributes to a harmonious whole. The pattern comes to life particularly well in three-dimensional applications, where surface, form, and light interact. This makes it a compelling choice for both public and private interiors.

The character of the fabric changes with different color combinations—ranging from subtle and calm to bold and expressive. Its versatility allows it to adapt to a wide range of uses and interior styles.

Rytmi is well suited for upholstery in restaurants, hotels, and waiting areas, as well as residential settings. It also works beautifully in decorative cushions and other textile elements.

Availability and ordering
Available in small quantities in the color shown in the online store. Other color combinations and scaled patterns are woven to order per project (minimum order 20 m).
